Established in 2002, Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology (NWIHT) has been catering to Chicago’s underserved community by helping them step-by-step to answer to a higher calling in Healthcare and Information Technology. Workforce Investment Act (WIA) awarded Northwestern Institute of Health and Technology (NWIHT) the authority to function as a training service provider for the economically disadvantaged and dislocated workers within the Chicago-land area. Expanding from its original location on 4414 N. Clark Street on the corner of Clark and Montrose, NWIHT is now located at 4641 N. Ashland, at the corner of Ashland and Leland in Chicago’s Uptown Area.
